Marutoku Ibota—composed primarily of paraffin wax and talc—was highly acclaimed for its ease of use and effectiveness in smoothing the sliding tracks of *fusuma* (sliding doors) and *shoji* (paper screens). Although the original product (commonly known as “Ibotaro”) was discontinued last year due to the manufacturer going out of business, we are pleased to introduce the “New Marutoku Ibota.” While the manufacturer has changed, the product retains the exact same dimensions (42 x 65 x 20 mm) and composition. Please note that the price has increased significantly due to the recent sharp rise in costs for petroleum-based materials. Additionally, the packaging has been changed from paper wrapping to a plastic bag, with 10 units per box. We hope you will continue to make use of this product.
